Who is the Product Manager at XTB?

• You are responsible for the shape of the product: the vision for the future and the selection of KPIs that correspond to the KPIs of the area and the company.
• Key Responsibilities: Building a development strategy for the accounting system through close cooperation between the team and the accounting area; prioritizing the implementation of functionalities; finding a compromise between usability and system performance; analyzing data quality and data availability time using dedicated dashboards.
• The accuracy of data and processes is the most important thing for you - you look at processes, analyze how they can be automated and accelerated without compromising their quality.
• You are responsible for operationalizing the product vision: you translate visions into specific steps and tasks for the development team.
• You are responsible for cooperation with internal stakeholders such as the finance department (accounting, tax), risk department, and trading: you coordinate activities so that the product can be launched on time.
• You are the owner of internal systems and solutions that influence the effective and efficient work of business teams in the company.

• Own the Ledger domain at XTB: set product vision, strategy, and roadmap spanning today’s internal Cash Manager service and the target state core ledger.
• Lead end-to-end product delivery for the ledger (stability, scalability, auditability, SLAs), balancing regulatory, operational, and customer impact priorities.
• Drive crossteam integration: define APIs/events/contracts, onboarding standards, and delivery plans with Payments, Trading, Back Office, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Data, and Customer Operations.
• Define and deliver a double entry core ledger capable of end-to-end accounting for XTB financial services, including client money segregation, internal accounts, and full traceability.
• Ensure money movement correctness for deposits/withdrawals: posting rules, fees, FX, reversals/chargebacks, cutoffs, idempotency, and reconciliation across payment providers and banks.
• Support data quality and reconciliation outcomes: daily balances, break management, settlement workflows, and alignment between ledger, bank statements, and downstream finance/BI systems.
• Define migration and rollout approach to core ledger (incremental adoption, backfills, parallel runs), with measurable KPIs for accuracy, latency, and incident reduction.

• Mandatory: 5+ years experience in fintech/banking/payments with ledger/balances/reconciliation ownership and strong knowledge of double-entry ledger and money movement (deposits/withdrawals, reversals). 
• Proven ability to handle roadmap dependencies, and cross-functional leadership in fintech.
• Excellent communication with multiple technical and business teams and coordinating work between them.
• High independence, self-starter attitude.
• High level of ownership and responsibility for the implemented products.
